Die jahrelange Zusammenarbeit mit den besten Spielern der Welt führte zur Entwicklung des neuesten Phantom 7. Mit aktualisierten Konturen, etwas längeren Flügeln und einer subtilen Formverschiebung zu einem geraderen Außenflügelwinkel, der von der Topline zurückgeht, legt dieses aktualisierte Tour-bewährte Design den Schwerpunkt auf Ausrichtung, Stabilität und MOI. Drei gefräste Visierpunkte auf der Topline, akzentuiert mit transluzenter Rauchfarbe, bilden das perfekte visuelle Zentrum, während die verlängerten Visierlinien, die einen neu geformten Flansch einrahmen, Vertrauen beim Ansprechen vermitteln. Präzisionsgefräster 303er Edelstahl bildet die Grundlage für eine solide, zweifach gefräste Schlagfläche, während leichtes 6061er Flugzeugaluminium die Sohle/Flanschkomponente bildet. Entwickelt für die ideale Schwerpunkttiefe und das gewünschte Trägheitsmoment (MOI), nutzt der Phantom 7 den neu geschaffenen Vollkontaktgriff der Linie und einen stufenlosen Stahlschaft mit einer einzigen Mittelbiegung, die auf die Ziellinie ausgerichtet ist, für einen nahezu ausgeglichenen, stabilen Schläger mit hohem MOI.

ALIGNMENT INFUSED DESIGNS

With the new 2024 Phantom line, and based on Tour player input, Scotty focused on designing shapes built around alignment systems that help players easily and correctly align the putter for greater confidence at address and during the putting stroke. In addition to the alignment-promoting design of each putter’s outline, special consideration was given to the type of alignment cues built into each Phantom. Throughout the lineup, from elegantly milled sight dots to mechanically straight and even arrow-shaped sight lines, players are presented with a variety of visual cues that have been specifically crafted per each model to give the player the best pre-putt look at the target line toward the hole.

RE-ENGINEERED MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION

The 2024 Phantom models each employ Scotty’s proven construction methodology of using 303 stainless steel for the putter faces and bodies integrated with lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum flange/sole plate components newly re-engineered for 2024 to be more rigid, adding stability and a more solid feel to these multi-material designs. In conjunction with optimized and repositioned vibration damping technology, each new Phantom model has been refined, milled and crafted to deliver specific functionality with deliberate aesthetic updates to every contour, fitting, angle and radius.

DUAL-MILLED FACE TECHNOLOGY

Every model in the Phantom family has a solid face, precision milled from 303 stainless steel and employs Scotty’s new dual-milled face technology, developed on Tour and first introduced to golfers in 2023’s Super Select line. This milling technique takes sound, feel and feedback to a new level, combining the softness of a deep-milled face with the feedback, consistency and roll of more recent mid-milled offerings. After a deep pass of the mill across the putter face, a second pass of the mill levels the peaks of the face milling, producing a flatter, more consistent surface texture for the ball to contact the putter face. Inspired by putters made for Tour professionals, dual-milled face technology brings a Tour-inspired look and feel to the Phantom family, along with the line’s most consistent face to date.

CUSTOM DESIGNED FULL CONTACT GRIP

Each Phantom model has a new grip, custom-designed for the line. Tapered at both ends and uniquely shaped for optimal in-hand feel, this new grip is crafted at the ideal size, weight and form. In addition, the “chain link” textured pattern is reminiscent of Scotty’s classic Baby T design for a completely new grip made for full contact with the player’s hands.
